1.Notification No. 95(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 09^th February, 2012 notifies amendment in import of arms and ammunition for Specified Sportsperson/Sport Bodies.

2.Notification No. 96(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 15^th February, 2012 notifies Minimum Export Price (MEP) of all varieties of onion excluding Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishanpuram Onions will be USD 125 per Metric Ton F.O.B.

3.Notification NO. 97(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 21^st February, 2012 notifies the amendment in Chapter10 of the Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items relating to export of Basmati Rice.

4. Notification No. 98(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 23^rd February, 2012 permits the export of non-basmati rice through Land Custom Station (LCS) onIndo-Bangladesh and Indo Nepal border subject to registration of quality with DGFT.

5.Notification No. 99(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 23^rdFebruary, 2012 permits the export of wheat through Land Customs Stations (LCS) on Indo-Bangladesh and Indo-Nepal border subject to registration of quantity with DGFT.

6.Notification No. 100 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 28^th February, 2012 notifies the imposition of basic Customs Duty of 2% on import of cut & polished diamonds by the Department of Revenue with effect from 16.01.2012 vide Notification No. 01/2012.

9.  Public Notice No. 95 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated2^nd February, 2012 notifies the fixation of Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the export product “Articles made of Thermo Plastic Elastomer (TPE)”.

13.Public Nofice No. 99(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 16^th February, 2012 notifies Corrections in Public Notice No. 80(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 13^th October, 2011 and Public Notice No. 83(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 31^st October, 2011.

14.Public Notice No. 100/RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 23^rd February, 2012 notifies correction in description of export item at Sl. No. 915, ProductCode-62“Chemicals” of the DEPB Rate Schedule.It is corrected to read as Vinyl Pyridine Latex instead of Vinyl Oyridine Latex.

15.Public Notice No. 101/RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 29^th February, 2012 notifies amendment in Appendix 37D, of Handbook of Procedure Vol. I to include “Braided” in the expression “Handmade” in the “Note:” at Sl. No. 11 in Table 2.

16.  Policy Circular No. 53(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 23^rd February, 2012 notifies Operationalisation of provisions of Para 5.11.2 of Hand Book of Procedure Vol. I (2009-14) (RE- 2010) which permits RE-Fixation of Annual Average Export Obligation.

17.Policy Circular No. 54(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 23^rd February, 2012 clarifies that import ofSpaces under EPCG Scheme for existing machinery procured indigenously is not allowed.

18.Policy Circular No. 55(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 29^th February, 2012 clarifies that theImport of Ethromycin Thiocyanate for manufacturing and export of ‘Erythromycin Salts’under Advance Authorization Scheme is exempted from the conditional ties imposed under Policy Circular No. 9 dated 30.6.2003 and Policy Circular No. 15 dated 17.9.2003.However, in case of import ofErythromycin Thiocynate is for veterinary medical use or for manufacturing of any drug under Advance Authorisation then the condition of the Policy Circular No. 9 dated 30.6.2003 and Policy Circular No. 15 dated 17.09.2003 shall apply.

19.Policy Circular No. 56 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 29^th February, 2012 notifies the procedure of filing Online PRC.The Online filing of PRC requests is optional at present and would become mandatory from a date to be notified later.
