Ajay Sahai, ITS (VRS) Director General & CEO FIEO/ MRD/ 6(40)/ 2010 June 29, 2010 Dear Member, Participation in China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) October 15-19, 2010, Guangzhou (China) I am happy to inform you that FIEO is participating in the 108th Session of the Canton Fair to be held in October, 2010. As you may be aware, FIEO has been participating in this fair for the last many years and the participating companies were able to generate good business and business links with Chinese and other companies during the fair. China Import and Export Fair, popularly known as the Canton Fair is held biannually in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. The Canton Fair is the largest exhibition in China with a gross exhibition space of over 1,150,000 m2 and 55,620 stands. The Fair, comprehensive as it is, has won its renown of “China’s No.1 Fair” for the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the biggest buyer attendance, the broadest buyer distribution, the greatest business turnover, and the best credit standing in China.

LOGISTICS -All display materials may be shipped only through the authorized logistic agents of the organizers to avoid the goods being held up at Customs or non/ late delivery of display material.
Since Agility Fair & Events is one of the approved transport agents, and will be taking full responsibility of your samples right from India to delivery at your respective booth in the International Pavilion of the Canton fair, we recommend you to send your samples through them. Important - Please note : - Companies legally registered over 3 years (including the 3rd year) would be eligible to participate in the fair.Copy of the Company Registration Certificate or other valid certificate (IEC) is required to be submitted along with the FIEO registration form. - Certificate of Origin- Exhibits should be produced in any country or region other than mainland China. Certificate of Origin (COO) is required to be submitted for the products to be displayed. For exhibitors who cannot submit the Certificate of Origin right away, they may submit the attached Letter of Guarantee and submit the COO after shipment of samples. CANCELLATION POLICY- No request for cancellation and refund will be entertained. Also note that since the rates are already subsidized, no MDA Grant will be available. Limited booths are available which shall be allotted on first come first served basis. You are requested send us the following along with the full payment by way of Demand Draft in favour of Federation of Indian Export Organisations, payable at New Delhi. - FIEO Registration form
