FIEO/MRD/6(35)/2009July 1, 2010 Dear Exporter, 3rd INDEXPO MUSCAT 2010 September 28-30, 2010, Muscat, Oman As our earlier communication dated February 24, 2010 regarding FIEO’s participation in “3rd INDEXPO MUSCAT 2010”, which will be held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman from September 28-30, 2010. The Show is supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industry of Oman, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Embassy of India in Muscat. Date: September 28-30, 2010 Venue: Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman Timings: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm (exclusively for traders and businessmen) 5.00 pm – 10.00 pm (for business and general public) Sale: Sale is allowed only on the last two days Booth Cost: Built up booth of 9 sqm @ Rs 1,00,000/- + 10.3% Service Tax(MDA grant upto Rs. 80000/- is available to eligible exporters as per MDA guidelines. Exporters who are members of Export Promotion Councils are also eligible for MDA grant.) The booth will include White panels of 1m in width, 2.5 m in height and 3 mm in thickness on the rear and sides, Carpet tiles, Fascia in English & Arabic (max. 30 letters) (additional letters @ USD 1 per letter); One table and two chairs; Two spotlights of 100 volts; One double socket (240 volts, 13 amps, single phase) and the electricity cost arising from the use thereof. Oman has one of the fast growing economies in the world today. The growth rate achieved by Oman in the past few years has been quite encouraging. With the increasing demand for quality products, Oman has been importing from more than 100 countries around the world. Total import recorded in 2008 valued at USD 22.92 billion and total exports @ USD 37.71 billion. Besides, Oman has a flourishing re-export market to Iran, UAE and Yemen. The 3rd INDEXPO MUSCAT 2010 is being organized with a view to providing an opportunity for Indian businessmen to expose their products to the Omani market and to exhibit the quality capabilities of the Indian industry. All the confirmed participants need to make their own arrangements for travel, hotel accommodation, medical insurance, local transport etc. FIEO will assist for visa issuance, charges for which will be extra and will be informed later. For Visa, please send photocopy of passport (first and last page) and photographs (two) per participant. Interpreter charges would be extra.
MDA GRANT
MDA grant upto Rs. 80,000/- is available to eligible exporters as per MDA guidelines. REFUND POLICY
The participation charges are non-refundable and non-adjustable.
Interested companies are requested to send us duly filled in enclosed Forms along with Demand Draft of Rs 1,00,000/- +10.3% Service Tax (in case of more than one booth, multiply the number of booths with Rs. 1 lakh +10.3% Service Tax) (non-refundable) in favour of Federation of Indian Export Organisations, payable at New Delhi.
