I am happy to inform you that FIEO would be participating in “India Sourcing Fair - Home Products”, which will be held during October 20-23, 2010 at Asia World - Expo, Hong Kong, co-located with China Sourcing Fair. Due to steep increase in labour cost in China, RMB appreciation against USD and quality issues, international buyers are now looking at India for sourcing of products. The October 2009 edition of India Sourcing Fair attracted more than 30,000 buyers from around the world. The details of the fair are as follows: Date : October 20 – 23, 2010 Venue : Asia World-Expo, Hong Kong Timings : 10.00 am – 6.00 pm (October 20-22, 2010) 10.00 am – 5.00 pm (October 23, 2010) Sale : Not allowed in the fair. The fair is open to trade buyers only. Booth Cost : Built up booth of 9 sqm @ Rs 1,00,000/- + 10.3% Service Tax. THIS IS THE SUBSIDIZED COST OF THE BOOTH. NO OTHER SUBSIDY/ GRANT WILL BE APPLICABLE/ AVAILABLE. The booth will include Fascia with Company name; White panel walls (2.5m H); Two leather arm chairs; One square table; two layers of display shelves (3m L); Lockable cabinet (3m L); One waste paper basket; Five 100 W long arm spotlights; Carpeted floor. Hong Kong is known as the world’s sourcing capital for gifts & home products. The city is home to international buying offices and is a hub for global procurement. For many buyers based in Europe and North America, Hong Kong is the most important stop in their Asian Sourcing trips. According to Hong Kong Immigration Department, nationals of most foreign countries can visit Hong Kong visa-free for short term stays. In case of India, 14 days visa free period is there. However, exhibitors are advised to visit www.immd.gov.hk for more information.
REFUND POLICY
The participation charges are non-refundable.
Interested members are requested to send us duly filled in enclosed Forms along with Demand Draft of Rs 1,00,000/- +10.3% Service Tax (non-refundable) in favour of Federation of Indian Export Organisations, payable at New Delhi and CA certified export turnover for the last three years.
