RESULT OF THE ELECTION
The successful candidates in the election to the FIEO Managing Committee duly conducted to fill in vacancies as per FIEO Rules are as follows:-
1. In the Associate Members category of Recognised Trading, Star Trading & Premier Trading Houses (Northern Region), two valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri Anil Monga of Emmsons International Limited, New Delhi,is declared elected.
2. In the Associate Members category of Recognised Trading, Star Trading & Premier Trading Houses (Southern Region), Shri M Rafeeque Ahmed of Farida Shoes Pvt Ltd., Chennai is elected unanimously.
3. In the Associate Members category of Recognised Export & Star Export Houses (All India basis), three valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri Navratan Samdria of Oriental Carpet Centre, New Delhi is declared elected.
4. In the Associate Members category of Recognised Export & Star Export Houses (Eastern Region), three valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri Pravin Saraf of Saraf Impex (P) Limited, Kolkata is declared elected.
5. In the Associate Members category of Recognised Export & Star Export Houses (Western Region), Shri K M Khalid of Geco Trading Corporation, Mumbai is elected unanimously.
6. In the Registered Members for Multi Product Group (Northern Region), three valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri T S Ahluwalia of Dharamvir Exports Pvt Ltd., New Delhi is declared elected.
7. In the Registered Members for Multi Product Group (Eastern Region), two valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri Prakash Kumar Thaker of Jamnadas International, Kolkata is declared elected.
8. In the Registered Members for Multi Product Group (Western Region), no valid proposal was received, this seat is lying vacant.
9. In the Registered Members for Multi Product Group (Southern Region), Shri V Elangovan of Eastman Spinning Mills (P) Ltd., Tirupur is unanimously elected.
The Announcement of result will formally be declared at the Annual General Meeting.
