B2B Delegation of Food and Agri Exporters to Vietnam (including Marine and Meat)

Dear Sir,

Vietnam is a prominent export destination for India and is the 4^th largest in the ASEAN region. In fact, Indian exports to Vietnam grew by 34% last fiscal to reach USD 6.7 billion. Besides other sectors, Food and Agro based products finds a prominent place in our exports to Vietnam and have grown substantially in the last three years from 381 Mn to 910 Mn in 2021 and currently India occupy nearly 7% share of Vietnam’s global imports. However, keeping in view India’s capabilities in this sector, there is enormous potential to take it to 10% levels in near future. 

2.Therefore, to further promote our exports to this region, we are pleased to inform that FIEO with support of the Indian Embassy and Consulate in Vietnam is mounting a B2B Delegation of Food & Agri Exporters to Vietnam from February 28^th – March 3, 2023 as per below schedule: 

3.Besides traditional items like Rice, tea, spices, we welcome participation of exporters dealing in other products like Millets, Processed and Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Marine Products, Milk and Milk products, Packaged/ Ready to eat food, Soya products, Coffee, Dry fruits, Dairy Products, Other Beverages, Cereals, Pulses etc.

4.During the visit, all efforts shall be made to have effective B2B meetings with Importers, exporters, Distributors, suppliers and Hypermarket/ Retail Chains. Realizing the importance of country specific regulations in Food and Agri Sector, we shall aim to have meetings with different regulatory bodies in Vietnam. It aims to provide a solid platform for the Indian Companies to showcase their products and negotiate with their counterparts at Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city of Vietnam.

5.Members interested to be part of this Indian delegation are requested to confirm their participation by filing the Registration formalong with the participation charges of Rs 45,000/- (Non-refundable) for a single delegate. Additional delegates can join the delegation by paying a nominal amount of Rs 20,000/-. Further, to promote Farmer Producer Organisations (FPO’s) and encourage them in the export sector, FIEO shall include limited number of FPO’s in the delegation at a discounted participation charge of Rs. 30000/-  o­nly.
